305 Idylwyld Dr N

Historic CPR Station

IMG_0136 resizedThis once glorious heritage treasure, installed on the National Register of Historic Buildings, was in a dismal state of disrepair when it was rescued by Ken Achs in the 1990’s. At great expense and as a labour of love for the city to enjoy, the Mid-West Group restored the building to the exacting standards required by federal government architects. Located on the city’s main thoroughfares, it is now a landmark property in Saskatoon pivotally set at the west entrance to the Warehouse District. After its renovation, its close proximity to the old warehouse sector of Saskatoon ignited interest in the redevelopment of that area.
